Birmingham has been a crucial element in my personal musical background as since I first started playing records I've been constantly influenced by the likes of Surgeon and Regis. 
Well over fifteen years down the road, Rebekah is among those responsible for keeping that characteristic Birmingham sound alive and she's doing an outstanding job at it. She has developed an instantly recognizable sound in which especially the kicks stand out, leaving little doubt as to who's behind a track. 
Her list of past releases is impressive, featuring material put out on 8 Sided Dice, Stolen Moments, Naked Lunch and Coincidence Records. Her successful production work has resulted in an increase in gigs around the world, allowing her to play Tomorrowland, Kiev and recently Berghain in Berlin. 
I'm pretty sure she'll be playing outside of Birmingham a lot more in the coming years and this week's Invite's Choice podcast is sure to convince any doubters otherwise! Tnx Rebekah!
