REVIEW: Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg join forces to create "Unanswered Question EP".

First of all we want to start this article by making you a question, what do you expect as an artist of the caliber of Adam Beyer joins forces with other techno heavyweight like Ida Engberg and release a new ep? and if you love techno music like we do, of course the answer is going to be that you expect a techno bomb exclusively to loose your mind and body in the dancefloor, hell yes! you're right and "Unanswered Question EP" its already Out, so you should be enjoying this Special Edition pressing from the mighty Drumcode Label boss Adam Beyer, that teams up with Ida Engberg for an epic workout in the shape of Unanswered Question, great remixes comes from Dense and Pika and Julian Jeweil.

The first track, Unanswered Question (Original Mix), is a very nice track including a catchy rhythm and a very original and deep ass vocals that definitely would get your mind in a very fresh but heavy techno sound, something i really liked about this one, is that the track begins with a weighty kick drum and a sensuous vocal that progress and filter the music into a blast of techno beats. We agree that "Julian Jeweil’s remix of ‘Unanswered Question’ is a late night dubbed out version that compromises of a groove that pulsates throughout and falls into the original synth stabs before rising back into the funky, dubbed out groove." Just as drumcode describe it.

If we have to choose a favorite track from this fabulous EP, definitely is Unanswered Question (Dense & Pika  Remix), In this very hot remix definitely Dense & Pika left behind the harmonious and sensual vocals that gave freshness to the Unanswered Question Original track, this remix has more powerful and heavy beats, deep background sounds that creates the perfect techno heavily influenced by the aggression Dense & Pika brings to the track, something that surely will give you infinite energy when you're in the scene meanwhile The final track 'Virga' is a more melodic techno offering, that finishes the EP off with a classy finish.

Release info: Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg come together to create a new track after the success of the highly acclaimed 'Lovecraft'. 'Unanswered Question' uses a weighty kick drum and a sensuous vocal before the track breaks into some groovy synth stabs. Julian Jeweil's remix of 'Unanswered Question' is a late night dubbed out version that compromises of a groove that pulsates throughout and falls into the original synth stabs before rising back into the funky, dubbed out groove. The Dense & Pika remix uses unusual percussion to produce a chunky groovy rhythm. When the track breaks it takes the listener on an eerie journey before it kicks back in to the chunky drum beat. The final track 'Virga' is a more melodic techno offering that finishes the single off with a classy finish.
