Adam Beyer sites Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995) as the first record to define his style; hard, percussive and loop oriented. This 12" names Beyer´s future label and was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996). His need to create the perfect dj tool gave rise to the launch of the Drumcode label allowing him total musical freedom. The label´s strong concept and high production levels meant it enjoyed immediate success. After six releases Beyer launched his second label Code Red focusing on a slightly softer side of techno. Code Red finished with its 10 th and final release Stand Down (Code Red 1999) which was a compilation of remixes from various international artists.
His production skills soon brought Beyer to the attention of djs worldwide and global bookings soon followed. His meteoric rise has been cited as one of the catalysts for Swedish techno´s current influence. He pinpoints the Stockholm sound as being closely linked to his network of friends in the city aswell as the triumvirate of himself, Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch. After many releases and remixes on various labels he launched the second album Protechtion (Drumcode 1999). While the market was being flooded with monoton loop oriented techno Beyer worked on strengthening the arrangements that characterised his earlier works, aswell as adding melodic strings. Still with a clear focus on the dance floor.
The same year Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch linked up to create a stunning live act first witnessed in London to instant acclaim. The act created the intense feeling of a creative dj set while the duo played back to back mixing their production styles.

Something about Cari Lekebusch:
An impressive repertoire of releases to date have materialized from his HP HQ studio and permeated into the crates of the global electronic music community. Cari’s work has also been featured on a myriad of labels in addition to his own reflecting an array of genres, including releases on Swedish imprints such as Drumcode, Code Red, Truesoul, Jericho and Corb, plus tracks on other prominent labels such as Novamute, Soma, Primevil, Masters of Disaster, Fine Audio Recording, Harthouse and Turbo to name a few. Various studio projects over the years ranging from techno to hip hop have also seen him collaborate with a number of producers including childhood compatriots Alexi Delano and Fredrik Almquist aka RND as well as others such as Jesper Dahlbäck, Robert Leiner, Damon Wild, Oliver Bondzio and Dan Zamani.
With a steady stream of releases and a perpetual global tour schedule, Cari shows no signs of hanging up the headphones any time soon; even at the height of his career he continues to hone his craft daily, previously citing: “I try to make music regularly and try to constantly figure out new things. I reckon it’s like science, you need to do it every day to continue evolving”. Much like his evolution as an artist, in more recent years he has also expanded his H-Prod company to include a graphic design venture with further plans on the horizon as his company and career continue to develop, potentially into the cinema and videogame realm. He has come a long way in his career from his humble beginnings many years ago and one can presume that Cari will work diligently to achieve his future plans with the quiet confidence he has exuded throughout his career.
Bob Dylan once said that a man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do. And by that measure Cari Lekebusch has undoubtedly triumphed.

Something about Technasia:
In the mid-90s Siegling, who did a degree in film studies, went to check out the Hong Kong cinema scene. There, a mutual friend introduced him to Amil Khan and after they discovered a shared taste in electronic music, Technasia was born. They chose to base Technasia and their record label Sino in Hong Kong because there was no scene there, no record shops, no underground, no infrastructure. It was initially a battle for survival, but the location is vital to the Technasia ethos of music as communication. “Language is THE ultimate barrier,” says Siegling. He strives to overcome the barrier in his own life by picking up languages wherever he goes – he speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish and Italian, among others – but ultimately he chooses to communicate through sound. “Electronic music is the greatest language of all. No words, just the vibration, the emotion and the beat.”
?
Charles has a burning ambition to create music that transcends cultural barriers, and to captivate every audience. The proof of his success is in the list of clubs and festivals Technasia has played. Fans around the globe, from China, to Colombia, to the Czech Republic, know Technasia’s classic anthems including ‘Force’, ‘Oxide’ and ‘Evergreen’. And they know that every Technasia show takes the music to new heights. When DJing, Charles always plays on three decks, showcasing the old-fashioned arts of cutting and scratching. Live, Technasia takes audiences on an unforgettable ride. Charles literally becomes a one-man band, playing keyboards, percussion and acoustic instruments. He even sings. Anything to create irresistible energy and atmosphere. “I want my audience having fun,” explains Siegling. “Not falling asleep, or going off to the bar for a beer.”
The performance aspect of Technasia is complemented by artist albums ‘Future Mix’ and ‘Popsoda’ – which are modern classics. Siegling is also an outspoken promoter of young talent, using the Sino imprint as a launch pad for talent including Joris Voorn, Renato Cohen, Steve Rachmad and young Catalan producer Dosem. He has straightforward criteria for what makes a Sino artist: talent and individuality. Charles is refreshingly direct – he has no patience for industry politics – and he seeks out musicians who have a similar strength of character and clarity of purpose. “I share my knowledge with artists who deserve a push,” says Siegling. “So when they are ready to fly, they can do it on their own.”
2010 is a red-letter year for Technasia fans, thanks to the release of third artist album ‘Central’. Technasia’s first ‘solo’ LP, ‘Central’ marks the evolution of their trademark sophisticated, intelligent techno. “It represents a continuity of all the albums, it builds from them,” Siegling explains. “It grew out of new ways of combining melodies emotions and energetic beats.” Technasia is undertaking an extensive tour to promote ‘Central’ and remix support comes from the likes of Marc Romboy, Mauro Picotto, Dosem and Renato Cohen. No wonder Siegling is bubbling with delight: “This is my legacy,” he says proudly. “This is what people will remember me for.”

When detailing Joel Mull’s production career it’s almost easier to name the labels that he is yet to appear on than to list the magnitude of seminal labels that have come calling for his work.

Brief highlights include Harthouse (who released Joel’s most recent album ‘The Observer’, Superstition, Turbo, Music Man, Cocoon, Drumcode, EC Records, Audiomatique, Liebe*Detail, Jericho and Saved Records. This variety of labels says everything about the versatility of Joel’s approach to making music and his ability to balance sounds from across the spectrum with heavy-duty rhythms, chords, and melody.
A product of the small but highly productive scene that has grown up in Stockholm, it comes as no surprise that Joel’s discography is heavy on associations with other key players in the creation of the distinctive Swedish techno sound such as Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback and Cari Lekebusch. 2010 saw Joel embark on a busy period of studio productions; teaming up with Dustin Zahn for the epic Close Your Eye’s EP on Enemy Reocrds, appearing on Dahlback’s International Sound Laboratory label with a remix of Cari Lekebusch’s ‘Cold Blood’, dropping typically emotive EP’s on Jericho and Spectrum Recordings and somehow finding the time to also conjure up his third artist album – Sensory – which will be released in February 2011 on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul label.

As a DJ, Joel brings the same qualities he has exhibited in his studio work to the live arena. Comfortably combining music from across a range, Joel is a dynamic and interactive DJ who blends rolling basslines, harmonic synths, and energetic percussions to craft an infectious and atmospheric sound. Regularly touching down across Europe, Asia, North and South America, Joel enjoys a worldwide fan base. Most at home building marathon sets that allow him to explore the range of his musical inspiration, Mull’s sound is a living force; steeped in techno history but with both eyes firmly fixed on the future.

Something about Alan Fitzpatrick:
So far, 2012 has seen Alan progress on all fronts with his output for Drumcode in particular working to elevate his status as a maturing and dynamic producer capable of bringing stylistic variety to his productions. The release of his ‘Life Through Different Eyes’ EP powerfully demonstrated the range of Fitzpatrick’s inspiration and the inventiveness in the studio that inspires him to create universally popular techno records that stand out from the norm. Whether he is adding diva-like vocals to cavernous beat workouts (“Always Something For Nothing’) or fusing emotive chord sequences with his trademark heavy-funk sound (‘Prometheus’) there is a uniqueness to Alan Fitzpatrick productions that ensures his star remains on the rise.

Alan Fitzpatrick productions have dominated the techno scene since his emergence in 2008 with Alan's partnership with Adam Beyer's Drumcode label producing his most significant work to date; releasing the universally supported ‘Human Reason’ collaboration alongside Beyer; four chart topping EP's (‘Static’, ‘Face Of Rejection’, ‘Insurgent Series’, ‘Life Through Different Eyes’); his 2010 ‘Shadows In The Dark’ album and contributing tracks to the labels ‘15 Year’s Of Drumcode’ and ‘A-Sides’ compilations plus remixes of Adam Beyer’s classic ‘Remainings III’ and Ben Sim’s ‘Riots In London’. Elsewhere, Fitzpatrick’s releases for Bedrock (‘Reflections’, ‘Moon Palace’) and his own 8 Sided Dice imprint (‘First Times’ collaboration with Cari Lekebusch, ‘Blixx’, ‘The Heist’, ‘Straw Hats’, ‘Amsterdam’, ‘9 Hours Later’) have raised the UK producers profile to a level where his remix services have been recruited by John Digweed, Slam, Cari Lekebusch, Joey Beltram and Timo Maas.

The same unstoppable momentum has come to characterize Alan's style of techno; powering demand for his music worldwide, and filling his gig diary with weekends spent touring Europe, North America and South America as a bonafide member of techno's producer vanguard. Focusing on his trademark sound of tough, hooky grooves and incendiary beats, Alan is an intuitive and dynamic DJ who is enjoying the new lease of life that Pioneer’s CDJ2000 players have brought to the art of DJing. Alan’s big-room techno sound has seen him consistently draw crowds in Germany (Tresor, Club Lehmann, Universal DOG), France (Rex, Inox, Spartacus, S’Kandalo) The Netherlands (Paradiso, Westerunie, Sugar Factory, Doornroosje, Poema), UK (Fabric including NYE 2011, Electric Brixton w/ Carl Cox), Italy (Old River Park, Make Some Noize), USA (Basic New York, Incognito Los Angeles, Treehouse Miami), Canada (Piknic Electronik Montreal), Switzerland (La Zoo, D-Club, Das Schiff) and Eastern Europe (Global Gathering Ukriane, Sziget Hungary, Kazantip Ukraine) plus Drumcode events at SW4 Festival London, Berghain Berlin, PollerWeisen Cologne, Solar Festival Holland, Ewer Street Warehouse London.

Scene: UK. Time: Early 90s.Mark Reeve, 12 years old, gets infected with the electronic virus. UK is in Techno-Rave fever with breaks, beats and bass. Mark concentrates on the harder Techno sound of London's funky vibes, then develops his own style. At the age of 16, he starts to play regularly as a club DJ. His passion for juicy electric sound then knew no borders.

Middle of the 90s:
The Reeves move to Germany - a new start for the young DJ. Mark starts to visit clubs like The Omen and extends his horizon by the sound played in Frankfurt (Germany) by Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and others. His homebase sound remains tech house and techno with groovy rhythms and bang out beats and most importantly, that hip swinging touch.
In 2011 “the big year” Mark releases his first EP on Cocoon Recordings and “Daybreak On Mars” gets its first spin by Cocoon boss himself Sven Väth. Not only the leading track had heavy support from Väth and others but also “Lichtkleid” got its heavy plays by non other than Minus icon Richie Hawtin.
2012, Mark teamed up with Pig & Dan, which has proved to be an amazing partnership. Soma Records was the first label to finish the final step and release the first EP, which is available now. Mark will also be releasing his “Dice” EP on Soma Records in May which makes everything complete. In addition to his EP on Soma Records Mark will also be releasing on one of the biggest techno labels that has been around for more than 16 years Adam Beyer´s Drumcode. His Debut single on Drumcode is planed for the 8th of October 2012 and is called "Drumatics". Also closely followed in November 2012 with his second EP called "With Us" for Sven Väth´s Cocoon Recordings.
Not only can his original tracks be heard, but also remix projects have been started and finished from Extrawelt,Dusty Kid, Sian, Justin Berkovi, Marco Bailey, Dosem, Gary Beck, Arnaud Le Texier and Moonbeam - just to name a few.
Mark is known as a non stop DJ. As an artist, he has now had his most important releases on cult label, Cocoon Recordings but also Soma, Bek Audio, Traumschallplatten, Trapez, Herzblut and Bedrock. His tracks are always a mixture between dancefloor moovers - including groovy rhythms - and big basslines.

Adam Beyer became dedicated to the fascinating world of rhythm early on. After playing the drums as a teenager his obsession turned to the decks. In 1990 he bought his first set of turntables and started spinning a wide range of hiphop, hiphouse, acid and techno at local parties and clubs. Beyer soon learned how to blend his sets in a thoughtfull and highly focused way, a talent that has now developed into his trademark style. In 92 Fellow school friend Peter Benisch introduced Beyer to the sampler , a year later they got their first record deal with New York based Direct Drive. After finishing school in 1995, Beyer started work at the Planet Rhythm record store while releasing some tracks under a variety of names and continually djing all over Scandinavia.
