Biography of Reeko:
The biggest challenge a musician or producer of any musical type or style has to face, whether they like it or not, is to see whether their work can create a path that other artists will follow or lay the foundation for the work of other artists. Juan Rico, the Asturian known within the scene as REEKO, is well aware of this.
Born in Oviedo (Asturias) in 1981, Reeko is a dj who has rapidly attained the recognition other artists have taken a long time to gain. In his case it’s not been a matter of chance or coincidence, but the result of his innate and incredible capacity to be prolific, alongside his obsession for perfection. He marks is his birth as a dj about 1997, but it wasn’t until his first release in 2002 under the Swedish label Emergence that he became known professionally.
There is no need to name all the aliases that Juan Rico has used to release the diverse artistic sensations which flow from him, but these are characteristic which define his personality and are a part of REEKO himself. Producing and performing under different names allows him to concentrate fully on each individual event by devoting himself completely to an idea or style to which he is totally faithful, putting aside for a moment sounds and influences that don’t belong in the particular character which he is mutating into at the time.
The result is a knock out. Under the name of REEKO he has released huge techno productions which have charted and been played by the best djs in the world, right from the first tracks and EPs for labels as reputable as Theory, Main out, Integrale Muzique, Deafmosaic, Inceptive, Rxxistance, Trece Records, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Warm up or Palicavonzvreca.

Reeko created Mental Disorder, his “pathological” label/laboratory, in 2003 under which he has released 12 works of ever increasing quality. The latest (The Day After, 2010) received a wonderfully warm welcome as one of the best releases in Hispanic Techno of the year. Artists such as Gennaro le fosse, Pacou, Oscar Mulero have collaborated with his very personal label.
Next came the label Evidence in 2005, where he opens up to his passion for the darkest and sickest part of the human mind. He looks deep within the human psyche where most of us would never go or dare explore. That is where the laconic, aggressive and totally sweeping sound that characterises him stems from. Reputable artists who have published with Evidence are Function, Paul Bailey and Trolley Route, to name a few.
He has received great praise for his collaborations with the Humano project and the Belgian label MusicMan, home of the purest of European techno. During this last decade, his most outstanding performances have been in Awakenings and Monegros 2005, Aquasella, Tresor and his Brazil tour of 2008.
The story so far reaches a climax when Reeko joins the cream of techno: the PoleGroup, formed in 2008. On the frontline of this group is Oscar Mulero, indisputable leader of the darkest Iberian techno, joined by the Asturian duo Exium and the surprising and experienced Christian Wünsch. The most recent addition to this team is Architectural, someone who will give us lots and lots to talk about.
Reeko finds himself, unexpectedly but deservedly, among the elite of Hispanic techno.

Sebastian Krenzlin spielt treibenden Detroit Techno

Sebastian Krenzlin is one of the new talents playing at Tresor Next. Those who know how difficult it is to become part of the Tresor-family know that the music has to pump in the vains - Krenzlin is proofed by us and a talent behind the desks - strobe and fog will do the rest.Krenzlin is Sebastian Krenzlin and he is simply one of techno music’s most staunch supporters and preservers of the genre. Many of our basement fans will also confirm that a Krenzlin set fills the gaps that today keep the pure techno out of reach. You can experience the delirium and joy of vinyl finery from Robert Hood to Joey Beltram, Cristian Vogel to Holy Ghost. Underground and gratifying, one of our best NEXT residents.

Biography of Naked Pilotz: In the course of a surprise goodbye-party for Bernd, Wolfgang and Felix were responsible for the musical arrangements of the night. Without further ado a computer and an old 2-Channel Mixer were set up.

The NakedPilotz were born.

To that time nobody could imagine something "serious" were to follow quickly from this one gig. Driven by the passion for electronic music and the magical feeling to make people dance to the music coming from their "turntables", various first steps were made in the following years. Every free minute was used to try and test new ideas, to purchase first equipment, and to read and exchange news amongst one another. Time went by and in March 2008, after Bernd returned from his year abroad, the three were reunited. From then on, they almost met daily in Bernd's basement to practice and try out new things.

It took months until they were able to finally demonstrate their skills for the first time at the "Technotika und Sonic-Warrior DJ-Contest" on the 28th of August 2008 in the notorious Vinylbar in Frankfurt am Main.
Due to the lack of experience, a 2nd place was the result of months of work. This success, however, opened them the doors to several clubs in the Rhein-Main area. It was not long until their next gig in the "U60311" followed.

Since then they have constantly continued developing their sound. In search of the perfect setup they not only altered their equipment several times, but their sound continues to evolve so that today one can speak of a unique "Pilotz-Sound". Today they combine a 4-Deck-Play with many live elements into an impulsive sound, which, together with their distinctive outfits, will guarantee a special experience.

GABEEN [Gábor Bacsárdi] was born on the 13th of July in 1988 in Szekesfehervar, Hungary. He has actually never learnt playing on any instrument. Back in a few years, regarding music, his biggest influence was his brother /Xilinox aka The Bee/, because of him, he had to keep follow up on the yearly evented Mayday and Loveparade videos. Keep sneaking on his brother he`s learnt the basics of how to produce music. As his sound wasn`t the most proper in the beginning, he only presented his tunes to his friends, but in 2005 he started to care about it more seriously.
It has taken quite a while to be able to find his own style, therefore at the very beginning he started with hard techno. His first official release came out on a Hengarian label so called Survival Records which unfortunatelly does not exist by now, than his next release followed on Audio Exit Records which can still be proud of thier nowadays activities. After his first successes in Hungary, he`s tried to focus his attention over the boarder in order to make his name more remarkable. From the year of 2009, he simultaneously getting
requests for albums and remixes. His most recent tracks already appeared on Blind Spot Music/UK/,Plastiq /DE/,Ketra/IT/,Naked Lunch/POR/We Call it Hard/DE/,Heaven to Hell/DE/,Gobsmacked/DE/
just to mention a few of them. Some more informations about him and all of his releses so far, can be found over here: http://www.beatport.com/#artist/gabeen/98167
In the summer of 2010, one of GabeeN`s tune was played by famous Dave Clarke on White Noise radio show. Ever since Gabeen was played by Dave many times. Same year in corporation with his friend, Calman, they created the legendary party athem with the title of Showdown. This tune of theirs has made it`s way right on the toplist of an online records store, beside names like Carl Craig,Marcel Dettmann,Lucy,Robert Hood,Alan Fitzpatrik...in 2010, Gabben met Dr. Hoffmann (BLIND SPOT) and made their first collaboration track, furthermore they carried on working together. In january 2011, with his friend`s, Tosi`s help, Gabeen had a chance to run his own radio show on Fnoob radio which he named as
"The Gates of Hell". On his show, there has already been some big names played, such as: Kuniaki Takenaga,Patrik DSP,Oliver Kucera,Sceptical C...in fabruary, 2011 Gabeen was invited to a club in his hometown and taken opportunity to play after Takaaki Itoh, to present himself with an hour liveset mash towards the public. He already had gigs in clubs and radios in Budapest / Dürer-kert,Kashmir,Blog, Tilos Rádió/ and also in Dunaujvaros at Synopsis parties. In his hometown, Szekesfehervar he quite often peformes with his brother(Bacsardi Brothers formation) on smaller festivals like TechnOpen and Showdown parties. Abroad-wise, not so long ago, he had a chance to perfom on a Techno Beaty party in Prague. His music are sophisticate and genuine which are focused on dark noises, often broken rhythms accompanied with hard basslines.
Artist whom already supported his works: Dave Clarke,A.Paul,Vegim,Gayle San,Industrialyzer,Gary Beck,Lars Klein,Tommy Four Seven,Submerge,M_nus Records and many others.

Torsten Kanzler! Born in Wernigerode, raised in Sprötau. My life and my first contact with music began in Thüringen. Bands such as Depeche Mode, Tocotronic or Technotronic influenced my increasing addiction to electronic music. At an early age, I already had a growing desire to go to parties, to techno parties, and to party. Djs like Sven Väth, Daz Sound, and Pierre put me under their spell. Thus the madness begun. I got myself belt driven Reloop turntables and a mixer to lay the foundation. The weekend consisted of parties and in between I conducted hours of mix sessions on my turntables at home. I had about 10-15 friends at that time, all of whom were subjected to these marathon sets in my flat.

Another cornerstone of my career occurred in 1998. Marco Remus and his booking agency came into my life, and I worked there as the booking agent until 2003. Moving to Berlin in 2001 meant that I was at important events like Berlin's Love Parade, the Sonne Mond Sterne festival and Time Warp as well as becoming better known in Berlin's legendary Tresor Club or the Kassel Stammheim. My fan base grew and grew...

Also, in 2001 came my first platform for my own releases on the label Nerven Records. I allowed myself to get carried away not only with stomping and oblique techno. Labels like Stigmata and CLR and artists like Robert Natus and Sven Wittekind also influenced my sets.

So that I could further develop along with my art, I founded the Killaz imprint in 2003. The launch of the new label was the Maxi „Chegados“ from the Brazilian DJ-team Pet Duo. I was able to develop freely and to live out my own ideas of techno while making them accessible to the scene. Then, finally in 2005 came a few single releases. „Der Kanzler Kommt“ was the album debut on Nerven Records. About 12 months later „Die Große Koalition“ followed, this time on the Killaz label, uniting almost all renowned hard techno artists on two records. Almost a year later and after numerous single releases on other labels, the second solo album „Der Kanzler Kommt Wieder“, was also released on Killaz. After more than three years of label work it was time for „Best of Killaz“, a mixed cross-section of the previously published releases.

The public response to the label grew throughout this time. The Killaz mask helped me to meet fans around the world. To satisfy my addiction to weird sounds, in 2005 I founded the sublabel Error Records. The same year Serial Killaz was born. The Killaz sublabel devoted itself exclusively to the release of qualitative and straightforward techno sets from the biggest artists of the hard techno scene.

Dance with the Devilz is another project that I have brought to life with my friend and colleague Frank Kvitta. We play for 4 hours on 4 turntables and 4 cd players. This project has only made rare appearances on special occasions.

In 2005, I started our own label nights at the Berlin Rotor Club. At the end of 2006 I got the opportunity to organize Kanzler nights at the world-renowned Tresor club. Meanwhile, these nights became as legendary as the club where they took place.

In 2007, I came under the exclusive management of Abstract, the largest, best known, and most successful hard techno agency, led by Sven Schaller. Abstract is responsible for my appearances at Nature One, Syndicate, Dance Valley, Montagood Festival and the Decibel festival.

2009 also brought many great things. The Mayday gig in Dortmund was just the beginning. The first EP on Abstract an EP vs. Sven Wittekind on TKR 01 in September 2009 and an end of the year gig again at Mayday in Poland were just a few of the highlights of last year.

Biography of Sutter Cane:
In 1991 it was a CD with an unique new style of music which changed the whole life of Sutter Cane. It was the first time when he came in contact with Techno music.
After several years of collecting all different styles of electronic music, it was 1998 when Sutter Cane wanted to go the next step. He did not want to become a Dj, it just was the fascination which made him start mixing. From then on nothing was more important than Techno. It became his life. Teaching himself, Sutter Cane got a technical experience and it came like it had to come...

2000: Starting to work for the promoter of a weekly club-event Sutter Cane made his first experiences with the business-side of the scene.
After getting connected to the “right” people, Sutter Cane became a member of the Tatort Entertainment crew, a booking-& event-agency strongly connected to the Austrian edition of the Loveparade.

From 2001 until 2002 he became member of the Dj-Pool of a local club.
The first dj-gigs @ local clubs and the Austrian Regenbogenparade followed.
Shortly after becoming an official member of the Tatort dj-pool, and having his first vinyl-release for Global Matador Records in the pipeline, the Tatort Entertainment offices had to close, it seemed to be the end of Sutter Cane’s fresh carrier...
At the same time Sutter Cane got in contact with the new head of XXX-Productions, Austria’s leading promoter of techno-events.
After spinnin’ at the XXX-Overdrive club-night for the first time, people’s response was that massive, that Sutter Cane became the new XXX-resident dj, resulting performances at the legendary XXX-Gazometer (Austria’s biggest pure techno-event) and @ exclusive club-nights all over Austria.

In the beginning of 2006, Sutter Cane founded Driving Forces, an unique & fresh artist-pool, supporting young Austrian talents who are strongly connected to the electronic music scene.

2007 was a good year. Sutter Cane came in contact with Syno, another great producer from Austria and they started working together on several projects. The rebirth of the Overdrive clubnights resulted a lot of clubgigs all over Austria and even Slovakia. In summer 2007 Sutter Cane and Driving Forces member Mark Domine were booked as headliners for Paradog Festival in Slovakia. What an amazing night. But it came even bigger and better. In October 2007 another big step was done. After one more hughe show at the legendary Gazometer in Vienna, Sutter Cane was the one and only Austrian artist at this year's edition of Mayday in Budapest, Hungary.

2008 was for sure the strongest year in Sutter Cane's history. With nearly 60 gigs all over Austria, Sutter Cane became one of the most wanted Austrian Techno Djs.
In January Sutter Cane went online with his very own radioshow called Driving Forces Transmissions, broadcasted by Play.fm. The monthly Driving Forces Transmissions Radioshow had great feedback and was able to feature not only Austrian talents but also international guests like Eric Sneo, Lars Wickinger and the Pet Duo. More to come in 2009. For more infos check www.play.fm!
After a very very bad harddisk- and mainboardcrash of the studioworkstation the studioprojects of Sutter Cane lost a lot of time which made it impossible to hold the releases as planned.

Sutter Cane's targets for 2009: more great radioshows with a lot of international guest artists. Confirmed so far: Marco Bailey for the first show in February 2009.
New residencies in well known clubs outside of Vienna. Even more gigs then in 2008 and the launch of the Driving Forces recordlabel.
Forward ever. Backward never.

Niereich kicks off Tresor Month for the Mastertraxx Underground Techno Podcast by mastertraxxrecords

Biography of A.Paul:
A.Paul was born in Lisbon, Portugal in November 1971, and his career started in 1986, although his first contact with music was made at a very early stage, mainly through the hands of his older sister that would regularly listen to disco, funk, and electro sounds in the 70's. From a music passionate mind, to a national celebrity, A.Paul is today one of the key players of the electronic music scene on a worldwide scale, both as a DJ and as a Producer. His taste, technique and originality made him earn the respect from his peers and most of all the love and devotion from his fans.

After the first years of musical discovery, his talent start to blossom when he was 13, despite living in a country where only a small percentage of people would listen to dance music, he always knew that these infectious rhythms would be on his path. After buying his first decks and mixer, including a couple of years of bedroom practice, he organized a few parties himself and later acquired his first residencies in clubs, through the hand of J.Daniel, who was one of the most respected Portuguese DJs in the 90's. He was the owner of Question of Time Records, a vanguard record shop and record label, where A.Paul would later release his first record "Juice" a remarkable masterpiece that was played by many top DJs worldwide and licensed to various labels and compilations. He was also invited to be part of the Climacz project, the first after-hours club in Portugal, which was one of the first milestones of his career. The amazing spirit this venue brought to the Portuguese scene is still remembered with great joy and nostalgia by A.Paul himself.

At some point he felt the need to move on and search for new challenges. In 1996, he became part of the Illegal Records project as a techno import manager, was invited to be resident of the best club at that time Kremlin, and later founded his first labels, Squeeze Records and Onh.Cet, which were two relevant projects that helped define and polish his sound. By then he was also already playing quite a lot as free lancer, in a growing market. Portugal was at its peak, in terms of electronic music popularity and A.Paul was playing at one point every weekend on different parts of the country. It was inevitable that he would decide to stick to this option for his career, as opposed to be resident in a club, where he would be more limited in terms of music taste.

In 1997 he joins the X-Club, the most important DJ Agency and party organizer in Portugal. All the top cats were signed to X-Club, and so was A.Paul, first as a supporting artist, and later part of the agency's top artists too. This period was very important for A.Paul, and his growth was remarkable, because he had the chance to meet and play with all the major techno and house artists in the world. Other projects developed by A.Paul at that time include sound engineering, journalism and also graphic and web design, activities that would become also important on his next projects.

A.Paul was voted best Portuguese techno DJ in 2000, 2001, and 2002 by the readers of Dance Club, the main electronic music media vehicle in Portugal.
A.Paul has never stopped investing and supporting the electronic music community particularly in techno. This is when A.Paul decides to start exploring the international market, due to the changes in the Portuguese scene.1994 to 2000 was monumental time after suffering from the huge decline in quality and quantity of events and musical culture. From the "Paradise Called Portugal" coined years before by international media, Portugal was now a place with a stagnated scene, and techno was probably the first genre to suffer. It was time for change, this crisis lead him to invest his time in a music production career, that was quiet for a few years due to the higher demand for DJ previously. In 2001 he opened Genesis record shop, but it would be a few years later that he created his most successful project to date, Naked Lunch Records which is one of the quality techno labels in the world at the moment. He is also co-owner of MPC Vinyl Distribution, with his long time friends Cisco Ferreira (The Advent) and Michaelangelo, where he also released on his other sister labels The Light, Parallel 125, Dirty Ego, LK and Xtractz.

The last 5 years were indeed the most prolific and successful for career including constant studio and DJ activity. A.Paul has released over 100 vinyl records, several mixed CD compilations released in amazing labels like; Kombination Research, Synewave, Planet Rhyhtm, Italo Business, Pure Sonik, Theory, Mastertraxx, Beat Disaster, Yin Yang, Impact Mechanics, and has remixed artists such as The Advent, Ben Sims, Eric Sneo, Angel Alanis, Damon Wild, DJ T-1000, Virgil Enzinger, Robert Armani, Dave The Drummer, Dj Preach, Mike Humphries, Spiros Kaloumenos, Torsten Kanzler, Bas Mooy, Housemaster Boyz and many more.
Besides his sound of hard, funky, deep bass lines being the gin and juice of techno he is renounced for, he has also been known productions in techouse, minimal and experimental sounds, under several aliases like Loudon Kleer, Luther Miek, Beat Therapy and LK. and last but not least, he is also known for his co-productions with artists like The Advent, Industrialyzer, Michaelangelo, DJ Slot among others.

A.Paul is today one of the most remarkable techno artists in the planet, and his live performance, tracks and sets are acclaimed by a growing number of fans. He has played in events such as Awakenings (Holland), Rock in Rio (Lisbon), Nature One (Germany), Evolve (Canada), Liberty White (Belgium), Decibel (Holand), PACT (Holland), Boomerang (Slovakia), Aquasella (Spain), La Nuit Rouge (France) and in the best european clubs like Tresor (Germany), Fabrik (Spain), Row 14 (Spain), Moog (Spain), U60311 (Germany), Ostgut (Germany), Palazzo (Germany), Poema (Holland), Panama (Holland), Macumba (Spain), Locomia (Portugal), Kadoc (Portugal) and Rocks (Portugal)...
