Biography of Android Cartel:
Over the past five years Android Cartel has had many successes with their foray into the sacred art of dance music. First picked up by veteran's Chris Fortier and Steve Lawler in 2008, Android Cartel came onto the scene with great passion and enthusiasm and was soon being played by all the top dogs. From Luciano to John Digweed, Android Cartel's beats could be heard on the radio and in the club.
Since that first inception the boys have had a slow rise into the consciousness of dance music culture. Landing remixes and releases on respected labels such as Rawthentic Music, Thoughtless Music, Spark, ViVa Music, and more recently on the highly acclaimed Adjunct Audio, it is with great enthusiasm that Android Cartel has blazed their own path while effortlessly seeking to improve on their grooves and sound.
Their label Sketchbook Audio has also been a consistent source for breeding various shades of techno and subsequently making their own music family in the process, the boys have seen their own imprint being supported and played by some of the biggest players in the business including Len Faki, Secret Cinema, Joel Mull, Carlo Lio and many, many more.
Besides their production and label escapades, Android Cartel has built up a solid reputation in Southern California as an incredible and articulate DJ duo, and have performed at many of the legendary festivals in the area such as Lightning In a Bottle, Electric Daisy Carnival, Beyond Wonderland, and Escape From Wonderland. They have also been in consistent demand from LA's promoters and have played parties and events for Droid Behavior, Voodoo, Harmonic, Incognito, and have recently acquired a residency at LA's longest running club night, Monday Social.
Needless to say, Android Cartel is not done constructing, growing, and sharing their passion for electronic music. Be on the look out for more from them.

Biography of Kiki:
Kiki is surely a producer for whom no introduction is required. His style encapsulates everything exciting about electronic music. As a DJ he has travelled the world and his skills as a performer inform the music he creates, using the experience of a life of travelling and performing and channelling those experiences into music that has a reflective brilliance, deftly treading the line between the clubspace and the headspace.
Kiki was born in Helsinki, but has now found his home in Berlin.
Initial forays into making sounds with violins and pianos soon gave way to the mechanical beats of hip-hop, mixed together with more popular sounds whilst playing at school discos before he was even a teenager. With such an early start it was no surprise that before he was old enough to enter a club, Kiki was holding down a weekly residency at one – Helsinki’s Tempo club, which was swiftly followed by another at the Smile club.
A move to Berlin in 1994 to study Architecture was the catalyst for Kiki to step in to the realms of a serious DJ. Impressing the legendary Masters At Work at a Marlboro DJ competition led to him securing gigs at Berlin’s three cathedrals of techno -Tresor, Pfefferbank and WMF. Gigs in Berlin and Germany were soon followed by a string of international bookings and the release of an infamous three deck mix for Sonnenhaus which led to de-bug worrying about the health of his fingers.
With his profile as a DJ growing it was two short steps to releasing his first record on Ellen Allien’s Bpitch Control label in 2001, who through a happy coincidence he had met when the pair were double booked to play the same DJ slot. Since then Kiki has become an integral part of the Bpitch family growing into a truly international artist, sharing his love of energetic and hypnotic music across the globe from Mexico, to Tokyo and making a little bit history along the way. Kiki has been the only performer ever to pack Ibiza’s Space club to capacity on a Monday.
With an output that has been nothing short of prolific, Kiki has released a number of genre defining records both as himself and later with partner in crime Silversurfer. Kiki was the first artist asked to put together a mix for the now legendary Boogy Bytes series, and has been asked to provide remixes and productions for labels as diverse as Bugged out, Playhouse and Crosstown Rebels where he had the honour of being the first artist released on the label. His debut album Run With Me was an international success, and led to the video for Shake Off (a collaboration with Silversurfer and Captain Comatose) being playlisted by MTV. More recently a collaboration with Sasse and his Moodmusic imprint led to the release of the excellent Grand Cru – a modern club classic already. However, as he has grown and matured, a yearning to explore deeper and more personal forms of expression in music, has led to Kiki working on his follow up to his debut album – Run with me. Without forgetting his roots in the club, Kiki has reigned back the short sharp thrill of 12” releases to concentrate on his second album.
And so the next chapter begins. Kiki is set to release Kaiku (which means echo in Finnish) in the spring of 2009. Like a musical calling card it combines all of the elements that can be only be learned through a life dedicated to music and musical expression. Where the space between house and techno and electronic music becomes blurred to the point of irrelevance and the feeling and emotions created by the music give you all the labels you will ever need. As the song on Kaiku says – No Words Necessary.

Biography of Camea:
Camea was born and raised in the Seattle music scene as a pianist and lover of all genres of music. In her youth she studied both classical and jazz theory as well as dance, and spent a lot of time playing in bands. Later in her teens she fell into the Seattle grunge and rock trends, but her lifestyle quickly changed when she discovered electronic music and bought turntables in 1999. After spending a few years perusing local record stores, Camea began to collect labels like Perlon, Playhouse and Minus. This eventually led her to the artistically thriving city of Brooklyn, NY, where she moved in 2002, immediately immersing herself in the city’s music scene. Brooklyn’s intense artistic environment became a magical time for her, as this is where she discovered an abundance of new music and met Ambivalent, Alexi Delano, Tim Xavier, and Tony Rohr and spawned Clink Recordings, launching her career as an International DJ by 2005. Soon after her tour schedule became worldwide, and two years later she relocated to Berlin where she resides today.

DJing has stayed the forefront of Camea's passion but she has also moved her interests into the studio. She released her first solo EP in 2006 and has achieved a discography of original work and/or remixes featured on labels like Bpitch Control, Minus, Clink, Soma, and Get Physical. In 2011 she became the first female producer to ever put music on Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label, which featured her remix on Ambivalent’s “Jackson” EP. During this time she also released her first compilation on her imprint titled, Clinkology. Soon after in 2012 arrived her first solo release on Bpitch Control.
As a DJ, Camea’s house/techno hybrid sound has secured her a regular tour schedule around the world. She is a passionate performer and her sound is best described as Seattle cool meets Brooklyn edge meets Berlin chic, and she blends her more traditional musician roots with modern melodic concepts and groovy percussion. Her tracks have topped sales and DJ charts on many occasions, and she has been center stage at many of the world’s hottest clubs and festivals. Since her relocation to Berlin in 2007 Camea has become one of the handful of women from America to make it to the International stage for her genre.

Something about Spektre:
It’s the vision of successful producers/djs Paul Maddox and Filthy Rich, who came together through a bond of minimal techno, and a willingness to experiment unmercifully with new sounds. Unsettling any crowd that stands in their way, with their razor-sharp beats and explosive chemistry, their releases and live sets have been menacing dance floors ever since their project was born.
Stacking up an intimidating amount of industry knowledge and skill between them, the Spektre monster is storming from strength to strength, taking no prisoners… Filthy Rich has released countless successful tracks as well as gaining the support of top name DJs, whilst Paul Maddox has been fiercely producing music since the age of 15. Although coming from two very diverse musical backgrounds, their love of minimalism and attraction to cutting edge technology created a lethal combination.
Their sinful sounds draw inspiration from early R&S releases, Joey Beltram, right through to modern masterminds such as M.A.N.D.Y, Plasmik and Trentemoller. They use their combined experiences of minimalism to produce dark sinister sounds mixed in with twisted vocals and unnerving foundations, whilst remaining accessible to the crowds.
Connoisseur of the scene Oliver Huntemann, snatched up Spektre’s early releases for his own label “Dance Electric.” Since then the pair have earnt admiration and support from Sven Vath to Tim Sheridan, Audiojack to Fergie. Championing their sound, tracks such as “A Glimpse Outside” became immediate hits - launched straight onto DJ Mags cover cd. Further successes like “Haze” and “Minimalist Machinist” gained huge popularity in the clubs internationally, played by the likes of Mike Monday and Audiofly while one of Spektres latest offerings “Hover” was thrashed out at Cocoon by the legendary Sven Vath on New Years Eve, sure signs that this pair have indeed arrived. Spektre have been unleashing their dirty live sets in clubs up and down the country, casting their spell on thousands. With their insatiable energy for touring, 2008 sees their unique sound reaching the shores of South America, Russia & Ukraine, with a album showcase performance at this summers Glade Festival, there is no doubt this year will be as full of the same hectic gig schedule as the last. Expect to witness their undefined sets storming through clubland and expect to walk away breathless!
To catch their recent releases, look out for “Tempest” and “88 mph” as well as remixes on “Tomographie” by Andre Crom and “Black Box” from Jim Rivers. Future hits include track “The Ride” (Suruba Records), “Pacemaker” (Rotary Cocktail) and “On a Roll” (Very Very Wrong Indeed) plus an incredible remix of “Two Em” - Manjala reached no3 in the beatport minimal charts. The boys have also been working their magic on remixes of “The Arrival” by Zoo Brazil, “24 Bit Bleep” from Digital Filth.
An exciting future lies ahead for Spektre with their debut album released to Tim Sheridans VVVWI recordings, pushing them out onto that minimal edge even further. Alongside a demanding release schedule on several different labels, one thing is certain, this year Spektre can do no wrong.

Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first co-release. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next 3-4 years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Northwest Dynamics, Invasion, Fine Audio, Patterns, Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. Guys like Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. Nowadays, the label is more aimed to produce electro-techno tracks and less oriented towards loopy techno sounds. End 2004, they released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics & Rhythm Convert are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes, more melodic and even sometimes more dramatic music with flavors of techno, minimal, tekhouse and electro. Nowadays, Tom is busy at concentrating in his next step, to develop his "dj-career". In the near future, you can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! But as every self-respected artist, he will never forget his roots, so live-sets will still be part of his main occupation ! In the means of productions, future releases will certainly be done, as well as a second album together with Marco. So keep your eyes open on some new productions, because they will certainly surprise lots of people !!!

SPEKTRE weaves an intrepid, complex web amongst underground dance music’s elite. The techno brainchild of DJs/producers Filthy Rich and Paul Maddox, the dark duo was formed through a shared passion for driving electronic music and a mutual desire to push sound boundaries using the most cutting edge technology available. The fusion of their combined experience in the studio allows them to construct dark, sinister sounds mixed with twisted, haunting vocals and unnerving, atmospheric foundations.
Always innovative, their sinful sound draws inspiration from early looping detroit techno from the likes of Joey Beltram and R&S releases, combined with an amalgamation of much more recent production masterminds such as Dubfire, Martin Buttrich, Trentemoller and Stephan Bodzin. High rulers in the underground scene, their live shows feature rave-inspired, melodic, razor-sharp beats and their menacing releases hold the key to packing out hot, sweaty, dance floors every weekend.
Spektre’s web is a permanent fixture nestling snugly in the corner of the studio. As producers they more often than not hover comfortably in Beatport’s top 10 listings, with their tracks being released on prestigious labels such as Yoshitoshi, Great Stuff, Dekadent Schallplatten, Dance Electic, 303 Lovers and Weave, plus remixes on Craft, Audio Therapy, John Henry and Spectrum amongst a whole host of others. In addition, their tracks have featured on Renaissance and Umek compilations and their ‘Live At Glade Festival’ album was released via VeryVeryVeryWrongIndeed in 2009. Spektre’s production is supported by some of techno’s biggest pioneers including Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and James Zabiela. They have had recent features in Mixmag, DJ and IDJ magazines, with DJ mag dubbing them “the home-grown producers, tipped to give Berlin’s minimal crowd a run for their money.”
On the road, Spektre pack in a very hectic itinerary, wowing Spektre hungry crowds worldwide in countries including Mexico, the United States, Ukraine, Spain, Greece, Israel, Romania, Germany, Austria, Portugal and the Netherlands. On home turf, they’ve notably been booked by London’s Matter, Ministry of Sound and the SW4 festival official after-party with Eric Prydz – Spektre’s dedicated following is growing at an unstoppable pace.

The newest silk thread to be concocted and brought into Spektre’s web is the highly anticipated and awaited launch of their ‘Respekt’ imprint. A fresh and exciting new label concept that will serve as a platform for exclusive Spektre productions as well as a breeding ground for upcoming talent. With two single releases on the horizon before the year’s end, the tracks see Spektre collaborating with Matt Cooper on ‘Cuenos Cubanos’. Following this will be their solo ‘From The Deep EP’ and their first studio album will finally drop in Spring 2010 and is guaranteed to awaken the senses of any credible music lover.
As they carefully weave their way, carving out a name as leaders of dance music’s underground pack, the gruesome twosome promise unrivalled aural delights in the coming months and, as they say “EXPEKT THE UNEXSPEKTED”

Scene: UK. Time: Early 90s.Mark Reeve, 12 years old, gets infected with the electronic virus. UK is in Techno-Rave fever with breaks, beats and bass. Mark concentrates on the harder Techno sound of London's funky vibes, then develops his own style. At the age of 16, he starts to play regularly as a club DJ. His passion for juicy electric sound then knew no borders.
Middle of the 90s:
The Reeves move to Germany - a new start for the young DJ. Mark starts to visit clubs like The Omen and extends his horizon by the sound played in Frankfurt (Germany) by Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and others. His homebase sound remains tech house and techno with groovy rhythms and bang out beats and most importantly, that hip swinging touch.
In 2011 “the big year” Mark releases his first EP on Cocoon Recordings and “Daybreak On Mars” gets its first spin by Cocoon boss himself Sven Väth. Not only the leading track had heavy support from Väth and others but also “Lichtkleid” got its heavy plays by non other than Minus icon Richie Hawtin.
2012, Mark teamed up with Pig & Dan, which has proved to be an amazing partnership. Soma Records was the first label to finish the final step and release the first EP, which is available now. Mark will also be releasing his “Dice” EP on Soma Records in May which makes everything complete. In addition to his EP on Soma Records Mark will also be releasing on one of the biggest techno labels that has been around for more than 16 years Adam Beyer´s Drumcode. His Debut single on Drumcode is planed for the 8th of October 2012 and is called "Drumatics". Also closely followed in November 2012 with his second EP called "With Us" for Sven Väth´s Cocoon Recordings.

MSMS is a new House/Tech-House project, yes, but the men behind the four letters are long-year members of the electronic music biz.
One as a DJ playing House, DeepHouse and UK Garage at the time, the other one as high-quality music producer of mainly Techno, Club and Lounge/Downbeat (you might have come across some of his projects: Broombeck, Guardner, Rauschfaktor), electricizing the crowd with h
is energetic live acts.
Already friends for more than two decades, both now teamed up to combine crystal-clear sound and production savvyness with housy beats and deep flavour in their tracks and to rock the clubs as a DJ team.
So duck and cover or simply dance your feet off when MSMS' powerful Tech-House tracks hit the floors in your neighborhood.

Something about Rodriguez Jr:
Olivier Mateu’s wide-ranging inspirations and interests find their ultimate outlet as Rodriguez Jr., positioning him as mobilee’s new master of eclecticism.

As one half of French electro act The Youngsters – best known for their two studio albums and singles for Laurent Garnier’s F-Communications – Mateu has already received enough plaudits and praise to last a lifetime. The Youngsters’ award-winning productions catapulted them into the international arena, taking them to some of the biggest clubs and festivals around the world.

Rodriguez Jr. reveals a different incarnation of Mateu’s musical psyche, one that strides ahead, guided only by his kaleidoscopic vision; moving through shimmering, contemplative electronica, to deep and urgent techno, leftfield melodic accents and quirky pop refrains, Rodriguez Jr. is the by-product of an untamed brand of creativity and a thirst for the new and unexpected. Drawing inspiration from artists as diverse as Stockhausen, LFO, Carl Craig, Eric Satie, Kraftwerk, and Michael Polnareff, Rodriguez Jr.’s spirit of adventure translates as soaring creativity, and music that cannot be pigeonholed.

Mateu manifests Rodriguez Jr. in his MLab Mk5 studio, which brims with vintage synthesizers and dusty analog gear. Acclaimed Rodriguez Jr. releases for imprints such as Mothership, Boxer Records and Giant Wheels, prefaced the quirky melodies of his bass-driven house hit Princess Guacamole for mobilee records, and the tropical techno of Kids of Hula for it’s sister label Leena Music. Drawing both pleasure and inspiration from live performance, Rodriguez Jr. relishes the opportunity to realize his project on the stage, and has done extensively throughout Europe and America. This year it will also be fully realized in the studio, as he will release his debut album on mobilee in the Summer.

As he restlessly seeks out the ultimate intersection between all of his disparate influences, Mateu explains it best: “Good electronic music is not a jail,” he says, “It should be enjoyable everywhere, from dancefloors to living rooms, and by everybody.” Now an integral part of the mobilee family, Mateu will continue to channel his vision, passion, and love of music into all that he does, and all that will come.
