It's time for some quality music, so here it is Camea's podcast made exclusively for MedellinStyle GMID, for her upcoming performance on August 31, 2013. This are 60 minutes of pure pasion, quality music, a very unique style and of course Camea's modern house and techno sound, Enjoy.

Biography of Camea:
Her sound can be described as Seattle cool meets Brooklyn edge meets Berlin chic, and it has secured her a regular tour schedule worldwide. Camea was born and raised in Seattle as a classical and jazz pianist and music enthusiast, and in her youth she studied a variety of instruments and played in several bands. She started collecting records and experimenting with electronic music in the late 90s, and in 2002 she relocated to Brooklyn, NY, where the city's intense artistic environment deeply inspired her. Her passion for collecting and playing music continued to evolve as she acquired several regular club nights in Manhattan and spawned Clink Recordings, and on Friday evenings she had a radio show with Ambivalent (M_nus, Ovum) on East Village Radio. Eventually Camea began to tour internationally and moved to Berlin in 2007, where she still resides today and is currently signed to Bpitch Control, one of the world's premier underground labels that can be credited in the evolution of artists like Ellen Allien, Paul Kalkbrenner, Apparat and Modeselektor.

Camea is a passionate performer and blends her more traditional musician roots with classic and modern house and techno. Her tracks have topped sales and DJ charts on many occasions, and she has been center stage at many of the world’s hottest clubs and festivals. Even though DJing has stayed the forefront of Camea's passion, when she is not touring she spends most of her time in her studio in Berlin. She released her first solo EP in 2006 and has achieved a lengthy discography of original work and/or remixes on labels like Bpitch Control, M_nus, Clink, Soma, Plus 8 and Get Physical. Since her relocation to Berlin Camea has become one of the handful of women from America to make it to the International stage for her genre.

Adam Beyer sites Drumcodes 1 (Planet Rhythm 1995) as the first record to define his style; hard, percussive and loop oriented. This 12" names Beyer´s future label and was soon followed by his critically acclaimed debut album Decoded (Planet Rhythm 1996). His need to create the perfect dj tool gave rise to the launch of the Drumcode label allowing him total musical freedom. The label´s strong concept and high production levels meant it enjoyed immediate success. After six releases Beyer launched his second label Code Red focusing on a slightly softer side of techno. Code Red finished with its 10 th and final release Stand Down (Code Red 1999) which was a compilation of remixes from various international artists.
His production skills soon brought Beyer to the attention of djs worldwide and global bookings soon followed. His meteoric rise has been cited as one of the catalysts for Swedish techno´s current influence. He pinpoints the Stockholm sound as being closely linked to his network of friends in the city aswell as the triumvirate of himself, Joel Mull and Cari Lekebusch. After many releases and remixes on various labels he launched the second album Protechtion (Drumcode 1999). While the market was being flooded with monoton loop oriented techno Beyer worked on strengthening the arrangements that characterised his earlier works, aswell as adding melodic strings. Still with a clear focus on the dance floor.
The same year Adam Beyer and Cari Lekebusch linked up to create a stunning live act first witnessed in London to instant acclaim. The act created the intense feeling of a creative dj set while the duo played back to back mixing their production styles.

It would take a long essay to fully explain UMEK’s meaning to electronic music. The Slovenian born producer and DJ has been setting trends and rocking dance floors for two decades now - and still shows no signs of slowing down. He’s tireless in his techno and tech house production and with more than 100 gigs per year, probably one of the busiest techno DJs out there.
He’s not only been rocking our ears with his own productions for labels like Toolroom, Spinnin, Great Stuff, Intec and many more, but has also been heavily involved in choosing who to sign to his arty imprint 1605, which mostly supports young and talented artists who haven’t yet made it on the global party scene.

Having conquered most of world’s biggest stages and festivals, UMEK started his own weekly radio show “Behind the Iron Curtain,” which immediately landed on dozens of the world’s hippest EDM radio stations.
Although he probably holds a national record for the number of flights per year, UMEK still finds time for charity. Every August he hosts a charity event called “Party with a Cause,” where local sponsors help raise money for a certain cause, mostly to help underprivileged youth.

Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first co-release. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next 3-4 years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Northwest Dynamics, Invasion, Fine Audio, Patterns, Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. Guys like Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. Nowadays, the label is more aimed to produce electro-techno tracks and less oriented towards loopy techno sounds. End 2004, they released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics & Rhythm Convert are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes, more melodic and even sometimes more dramatic music with flavors of techno, minimal, tekhouse and electro. Nowadays, Tom is busy at concentrating in his next step, to develop his "dj-career". In the near future, you can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! But as every self-respected artist, he will never forget his roots, so live-sets will still be part of his main occupation ! In the means of productions, future releases will certainly be done, as well as a second album together with Marco. So keep your eyes open on some new productions, because they will certainly surprise lots of people !!!

Marco Bailey: To survive in a fast moving, highly volatile scene such as the electronic dance scene is these days, perseverance and talent are just two of the very important parameters of success. Resistance certainly also counts in that way. In an era where the fast world of "EDM" unfolds in a very short time in new regions and new trends are born in a weekly mode, Marco Bailey is considered as an absolute figurehead in this business. It is indisputable that the Belgian is one of the big personalities who trust in the long-term nature of their work. He's dedicated to real honest and straight techno that is based simultaneously on progress and development.
In the mid-nineties, Marco Bailey was already successful with releases on the most prestigious labels, such as Tronic, Intec, Drumcode, Toolroom and1605. In 2012 alone he released five separate EPs on his own MB Elektronics label, as well as the acclaimed "Stella EP" (Intec) and "Jungle Laps" (Bedrock). Esteemed artists such as Adam Beyer, Speedy J, Christian Smith, Joseph Capriati, Dave Angel, Ken Ishii and Sian all remixed Marco Bailey. After his critically acclaimed "Dragon Man" LP on John Digweed’s Bedrock label in 2011, he now unveils his latest musical masterpiece at the start of 2013. “High Volume” (MB Elektronics) shows he is an artist with his finger firmly on the pulse, with twelve dynamic tracks he proves that Techno in 2013 can sound innovative and modern.
Marco Bailey will certainly win even more fans with this new project and his live performances in 2013. As always, he is passionate and full of fervour, but with a fresh attitude and even more wind in his sails. Festivals such as Tomorrowland (NL), Time Warp (NL), Awakenings (NL), I Love Techno (BE), Nature One (DE), Wire (JP), Monegros (SP) and clubs like Zouk (SG), Ageha (JP), Industrial Copera (ES), Chinese Laundry (AU) have all witnessed the amazing music of Marco Bailey. His annual guest appearances at Carl Cox "Revolution" at Space, Ibiza, are legendary. You only have to deal briefly with his person and his work and it is quite obvious: Marco Bailey fulfils all the necessary parameters.

Gayle's first steps into the London clubs were via DJing at record company parties, various one-off guest spots and fashion shows. These slots soon led to Gayle being made resident at 'Reach for the Sky' at London's Limelight club, where she played alongside global DJs which Gayle describes as "the steepest learning curve possible". Having honed her DJing skills and broadened her understanding of music, Gayle began to experiment with the harder side of dance music, particularly the lesser known techno sounds coming into Britain from Europe and the US of that time. Her chance to pioneer this music in England came when Gayle became resident at Universe's legendary Final Frontier club, at Club U.K. in south London, which then moved on to become Universe Voyager at their new club, the Complex in north London, and she was also resident at all the Tribal Gatherings Festivlas. Final frontier was widely regarded as one of the best club nights in the world, it was not long before Gayle had amassed a following of techno pilgrims who would make journeys from as far as Edinburgh to hear her play. Gayle's reputation of her 3 decks mixing skills and dj sets spread like wildfire over the techno centres of Europe, most notably a residency once a month at the legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, the socalled 'Mecca of techno' that opened doors.Other European and American dates have included some of the most underground clubs in the world, from playing at high profile parties for Prince,Chaka Khan and Kylie minogue to name a few, to playing clubs like Bionic in Detroit, Pure Pleasure parties in Chicago, Soma in Montreal, Twilo in New York, Zouk Club in Singapore, Florida 135 in Spain, Fuse Club in Belgium,M47 in Hungary and many more all over Europe ,South America and the U.S.A. In 2000 she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany. Remaining in the top ten list has been a regularity ever since. In regards to the massive competition of the worlds DJs,and to be the only female dj in the top ten, it was an honour of her hard work in the last years. DJing has naturally led to various studio work and starting her own label Equator. Gayle has developed a sound that takes the intelligent beats of the underground, funky/hard/groove techno sound mixed with her very own style.Gayle loves producing on her own but also enjoys collaborations with other producers to absorb outside creativity. She has released on numerous labels throughout europe .Gayle has reduced her touring dates in the last 2 years, not surprising after travelling the world for 18 years to make more time for her production /collaboration works.Gayle never fails to rock the world..s dancefloor with her mixing skills and her choice of music .Gayle has already been called the best female techno legend and she is not ready to hang up her headphones just yet.

Biography of dandi & Ugo:
Our trip in House Music began in far 1989 when our strong friendship and our common love for club electronic music became a passion: DJ! In this way began our story of the DOUBLE DJ SET: we work in pair like we are an only one DJ, we put on the stereo two viniles for all the length of our live set, so we are able to unite our musical preferences to make our nights full of energy! In these years the evolution of Sound, Rhythm, Melody thrill us really a lot and make us listen and play different kind of music: ACID HOUSE, TECHNO DETROIT, UNDERGROUND, DRUM'N'BASS,TRIP HOP, PROGRESSIVE, DEEP HOUSE and ELECTRO TECHNO.
The early equipment, early viniles, early nights in our zone's club. Born as a sort of a game deeper and deeper our passion became a job, a job that brought us to work within DJs and Producers of national and international fame, and to co-operate with very important clubs like PETER PAN (Riccione), ECU (Rimini), PASCIA' (Riccione), Classic Club (Rimini), LES FOLIES DE PIGALLE (Reggio Emilia), PRINCE (Riccione), COCORICO' (Riccione), MATIS (Bologna), SOPHIA (Gabicce), WISHCLUB AFTERHOUR (Misano Monte), CUBADUST storkino (Milano Marittima) and, of course, our favourite one: ECHOES LIZ MUSIC CLUB (Misano Monte) where we are resident DJs of the privè: CRISTAL BLACK.
After all these years of amusement, nights, afterhours, curiosity brought us to discover new ways, so we bought our first personal computer and sequencer and after two years, thanks to the collaboration of a great DJ and Producer (Ricky Montanari), we made our first single: RICKY MONTANARI presents DANDI & UGO "BEAT CONDUCTOR" (Part 1 & 2) for the label "RE VOX" (Ivano Coppola A.R.), distributed from LEVELONE. Thanks to the great results of this project we could meet and co-operate with artists like Raymond Barry (Producer of electro house N.O.I.A., KLEIN & MBO, FUNK REVENGE) which whom we are co-operating nowaday.
We are also working with Fabio Carniel (MULTICOLOR RECORDS, DIRTY HOUSE, PART ONE), Guido Nemola (JOYFULL FAMILY), Producers Loaded and Santorini, dj & great producer Andrea Bertolini (STEREO SEVEN PLUS label), DUB RECORDING LABEL, Luca de Ponti (ART DIRECTOR label), DJ and producer Timothy with his crew: the MOOD (Steve and Andy Lee), DJ and producer Alex D'Elia (LOOSEHEADZ). About Mulero:
The mid-eighties, Madrid. The Spanish capital is teeming under the grip of a musical explosion the likes of which has never been seen before. In the midst of that rabid swirl, a teenager, unknown and unassuming, enters a record shop to blow his savings on an album, Standing on a Beach, by The Cure. Little did he know that this was to be his first step on the long and difficult path to becoming one of the country’s essential djs.
He soon became a familiar face in the dj booths of the most exclusive underground clubs of Madrid, but the best was still to come and the first chapter was called New World, his first “proper” job.
New World sessions were soon all the rave and Oscar entered the studio for the first time to collaborate in the making of the club’s official record, Nuclear Zone. His was a backseat involvement, more as a sound advisor than as a producer. It wasn’t until later on that producing and deejaying became his livelihood. The record went on sale in 1993 and was quite a success, going on to get included in many of the national compilations of the time.

The New World experience finally came to an end. But it allowed for the birth of THE OMEN, which for many was the ultimate club. The Omen was so successful it quickly became a tourist attraction, with clubbers from all over the country coming to Madrid every weekend to enjoy Oscar’s sessions. This led to a change in his career. He gradually moved away from being an important resident dj to a travelling one. He started to travel regularly, taking the Omen sound all over the peninsula. Firstly to the north, and then gradually, to all four corners of the country. It was the beginning of Oscar’s intimate relationship with airports and the road.
And so to the year 1996 and the third Sonar, a festival which had by then become established as one of the most important in the world. For the first time, the name of Oscar Mulero appeared among the list of national invitees, alongside others of his generation such as The Frogmen, HD Substance or Resonic. Sonar 96 served to officially confirm a whole new scene that had until then been in an embryonic state, but which was now being taken seriously for the first time and coming to be viewed as the seed of something solid. At Sonar 1996, Oscar held his own against stars of the stature of Richie Hawtin, Garnier and Mills.
Outside Spain, people started talking about his unique technique and musical selection. Another mission accomplished. And so on to the next phase…

About the podcast:
We have a very, very special guest for magic number 25. None other then Spanish techno legend Oscar Mulero has given us a special podcast running up to his performance at BALANS @ Melkweg Amsterdam on february 22nd! Oscar has been travelling the globe for 20 years with his cutting edge performances and is considered to be in techno's premier league. Xhin (pronounced as "sheen") has been crafting ominous cuts of cutting-edge electronic music since 1997. Building a forte in sound design, he is best described as a sound futurist. His identical rhythmic structure and compositional techniques which incorporate elements of techno, tight sub bass, ambient and IDM delivers a hint of chaotic soundscape amidst artistry. A Singaporean by birth and residence, he independently released "Xycle", a self-promotional ep that made the industry to stand up to take notice, in early 2003. He then followed with his debut album, "Supersonicstate" the following year.

In 2006, his talent has been discovered by a German independent record label Meerestief. With a remix that he has done for Dublin's Five Green Circle's track entitled Ronan's BBQ has created a storm over Europe. Praised, supported and charted by heavy weights from the world of electronic music. Then in 2009, Xhin has found a new home. He joined Berlin's then new techno label, Stroboscopic Artefacts to release his dark, intense and experimental side of things. From the results of his new releases for the label, he has done it again. Heavy rotation from the big boys like Speedy J, Luke Slater, Ben Klock and many more to mention. This will be yet again the beginning of an old new direction for him to explore and experiment sounds even deeper for his future releases.
So what's new and exciting coming out of his bag? A long awaited 3rd album since his 2nd one entitled Greyscale for Meerestief is set to be released on Stroboscopic Artefacts some time in late 2011.

It is Monday the 18th of February 2013 and we welcome back a returning guest on the CLR Podcast. Terence Fixmer is one of France’s most illustrated characters of the Techno scene, of which he has been at the forefront for over 10 successful years, bringing his dark, atmospheric sound to prestigious dance floors that range from Berlin's mecca of techno to Paris‘ Rex club. His instantly recognizable interpretation of modern Techno deftly avoids repetition by developing soundscapes that appeal to the club crowd, whilst still maintaining musical depth and integrity. It has been accurately stated that the music of this exceptional electronic musician who forms part of the CLR artist roster appeals as much to dancing feet, as it does to the searching soul. With the release of his brand-new Psychik EP, which came out last week on CLR, Terence Fixmer added three excellent tracks to his extensive discography. Apart from two of the tracks featured on the EP, Terence also included two upcoming releases on his own Planete Rouge label by the artists Hubot and Alexey Volkov in this podcast set. He is about to start recording a new solo album, so if you would like to know more about Terence Fixmer, his upcoming dates and releases, please visit the following sites:

Psyk, aka Manuel Anós, is nowadays firmly pegged to the actual techno scene. He doesn't seem to deviate from his trajectory justifying thus his precocious artistic ascension (signed his first release with MINUS, at the age of 19) Getting starched in his Birthplace Madrid, very close to the home where he have been initiated to Plastikman ́s musical melancholy and Jeff Mills boiling techno he's actually continuing serenely his career. Where many artists would have been disoriented, contented by weak ambitions, he have been refining his art, submerged passionately in underground clubs but goes back home to breath out fresh air.

His worldwide sets in clubs like TRESOR, BERGHAIN, RÖHSTOFLAGGER, FABRIK and so on, have been crystallizing his talent as DJ. Thanks to fusions combining the deepest, puristic and raw techno and strong influences of house and minimal, his sets with hypnotic rhythm and full of special care in planning and progression of these, have made him one of the most talented DJ's in recent years. Psyk's singularity illustrates a maturity which is very present in his music: from KRAFT ́s unanimously entraining, feverish techno music to more dark and deep titles of LOWDOWN, CRYPT and DRUMCODE and MOTE-EVOLVER Releases.

Like a conscientious artisan, Psyk deals carefully with his compositions adding somberly power with a subtle touch that makes him gain continuous praising from illustrious and not illustrious artistic figures as a constant guarantee of his quality. No wonder if we see him offering his talent under the patronage of emblems like LUKE SLATER, LEN FAKI, ADAM BEYER or making DUSTIN ZAHN ́s label more dynamic when he doesn't participate in his "NON SERIES" By developing, refining and purifying his sets, Psyk concentrates all his effort to concretize faithfully the agitating ideas of his mind.

Biography of Erphun:
It may have been fate that Erphun's very first gig was on Halloween, because his music is brooding, pounding, moody and transformative, as if from another realm entirely. His ability to build a mood is mesmerizing and transports the listener to that alternate spiritual level that his moniker infers. Having spun around California with residencies for Naked, Flirt and Hotel California and playing at 1015 Folsom (San Francisco), Sevilla (Las Vegas), MINC (Dallas), Broadway (San Diego), Voodoo Lounge (Las Vegas), Risqu (Las Vegas, New Year's Eve 2004), and the Shelbourne Hotel (Miami, Winter Music Conference) , Erphun began to make his mark.
Erphun's music has been spun in clubs all over the world and is succinctly summed up by Steve Lawler as a "deep, dark and underground unique sound" that trademarks his pieces. With releases on ViVa MUSiC, Oliver Klein's Mutekki and Audio Therapy, and more recently to Bedrock Records, his name is now instantly recognizable among the tech-house, minimal, techno world of spinning producers who globe trot his compositions to be dropped on every conceivable audience. The reaction of the listener to his slow, driving builds that weave between the almost symphonic-like movements of each of his pieces is always jaw dropping and is usually followed by an exclamatory "SIIIIIICK!".
Erphun is also a highly sought after re-mixer for artists who want to hear the 4AM version of their pieces. The only way to really experience this immense talent is to see him in action. A night of Erphun's making heightens the listener's musical aesthetic and aurally illustrates his personal musical vision.

Drumcomplex - The Mass Movement Phenomenon
Work-sharing is not uncommon with Techno duos. On the contrary, it is the rule rather than the exception. On the Techno scene this is only natural. One of the counterparts, with the right training, focuses on the professional record production output, while the extroverted one faces the raised fists of cheering fans on weekends and tries to relax with some quiet time on weekdays. Arnd Reichow, part of the duo Drumcomplex, has been an example of the second type all his life. Daniel, who holds a degree in sound engineering and who is also Arnd's brother, is an important support - privately as well as professionally. There could hardly be a better way to complement one another.
Who has not at some point asked the question "How complex can Techno be?"As far as Drumcomplex is concerned, the answer must be: Techno can reach a degree of complexity that gets the utmost out of studio work and live performances through a perfect division of work – and has been doing so for the past ten years and more. This is also reflected in the discography: These two cover a range of prestigious Techno and TechHouse labels that would have others drooling: MB Elektronics, Phobiq, Different is Different Records, Toolroom Records, Railyard Recordings, Resopal Schallware, Definition Records, SK Supreme Records, Techno League Rec, K:lender. Firing on all cylinders, and an emphatically recommended sound system since 2003 is the upshot of all the hard work in the studio which has earned the label mass movement phenomenon over many years.
And what about out there, in front of the crowds? This will raise a smile on the face of anyone who has ever seen Arnd perform in front of a crowd. And why? Because one might well ask the question how, after 20 years of DJing, someone can be so light-hearted and level-headed in their approach at the same time. Maybe it is just that magical spark from the first hour of Techno's unspoiled core that flares up at each of his sets, and always illumines the crowd a little bit as well. All that acting up around the DJ booth is certainly not for him. Arnd is the DJ who does not disappear backstage to sip champagne when he is done; he is the fan who celebrates the records of the next act together with the rest of the crowd. It is this open and honest style that brings this "Drumcomplex" to people in such a simple manner, so that no one in the crowd is able to resist its almost childlike charisma. A spark of harmony that would be nice to see more frequently on the scene again.

Something about Dave Clarke:
When his parents split, he ran away from home, sleeping rough in car-parks before a friend offered him floor-space. The only thing that kept him going was music. From soul to the Psychedelic Furs, from Devo to the nascent Chicago house sound, Clarke devoured it all voraciously and blagged himself a DJ slot in Brighton. Soon such gigs provided Clarke with a meagre living, then in 1994 his reputation was sealed by a series of EPs known collectively as ‘Red’. The debut album ‘Archive 1’ followed, flecked with hints of breakbeat and electronica, a novelty in the puritanical techno scene of the time.

His mix CDs included the two best-selling ‘World Service’ outings (one of which made it into the top ten of best mix compilations of the 00's in Resident Advisor) which showcased his dual love for electro and techno, and he briefly signed to Skint Records, resulting in 2004’s ‘Devils Advocate’ album, a long-player jammed with dark techno energy but laced with hip hop beats. When his production pace ebbed Music Man Records gathered together ‘Remixes And Rareties’ in 2007, making Album Of The Month in Mixmag and receiving critical plaudits all over. There is, however, no denying things eventually went quiet on the production front.
Clarke greets this with a dramatic pause. “If I’d stepped into a studio then I could have done what I’d already done but I didn’t want to do that, I want to do something I haven’t done.” He pauses again before going on. “I think it’ll happen,” he allows, “I’m not going to leave it forever...”
In the meantime he has plenty else on. Moving finally from rural sedate Sussex to Amsterdam revitalized him.
“I felt quite excluded when I lived in the countryside,” he admits, “whereas my home in Amsterdam is a fifteen minute walk from most venues so I’ve seen Patti Smith, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Horrors, Holy Fuck!. There’s no excuse not to go so that’s very inspiring.”
He’s also built up his White Noise radio show on the Dutch station 3FM (also archived at the award-winning http://3voor12.vpro.nl), interviewing artists ranging from John Foxx to Coldcut to Broken Social Scene but the thrust of the show is still to cast light on exciting new music.
“The most important point is to air music that other stations and DJs don’t have the power to,” he says, “music that wouldn’t normally be given a chance. I can just go where I want with it although it’s still 99% techno and electro.”
The same applies to his White Noise label. Emphatically not a vanity project for his own releases, it has instead hosted boutique vinyl pressings (alongside the usual digital fare) for gleaming new material by artists such as Frank Kusserov, Noirdegout, Woody McBride, Marco Bernadi, Terence Fixmer and The Hacker. These and other tunes will be chopped, hammered, filleted and turned on their heads during Clarke’s DJ sets. That’s where he comes alive, where skills honed for years blow venues apart. A 2009 highlight, for instance, was the fifteenth birthday party of FUSE, the Brussels club where his standing is second-to-none, where he’s developed an extraordinary relationship with the crowd. He speaks of it with his breath catching, as thrilled as ever by the ride the music takes him on.
