Before the launch of Sub Cult Aka Carl has been studying for the last few years, first of all he completed a CPD in the music industry at Paul McCartney School… Liverpool’s Institute of Performing Arts after spending a year and a half in Liverpool Aka Carl moved to Manchester and enrolled at the School of Sound Recording to study for a degree in sound engineering and design and completed the course in July 2008.
Aka Carl is the founder and owner of Sub Cult, after setting up the label in the summer 2007 Aka Carl has been fine tuning his own production style and up to the present date has releases and has upcoming releases on, Patterns, Work Hard Play Hard, Kazoo, Techno Artillery, Emphatic, Techment, StarsTraxx and of course Sub Cult!
